    For almost 17 years this is the only movie to run for one whole year in 4 centers in one state(Hyderabad,Vizag,Tirupati and Vijayawada). A year before the release of aDavi rAmuDu, it was Sholay in 3 centers in Maharashtra. Hum Apke hain koun broke the record set by aDavi rAmuDu after 17 years(or is it 18) years. They were predicting that peLLisandaDi (another hit from darSkEndrarAvu) was supposed to cross hum apke hain koun (but I'm not sure whether it did).

    A landmark in NTR's career coming as it did to revive a saggin career. Until this came along, NTR had a massive slump right from early 70s. AFter adaviramudu, came a series of hits like vetagadu, lorry driver, yamagola which helped him zoom above others and finally helped him to the chief minister's gaddi.
