It is believed that the song was picturised on Babu Mohan because the director was angry with Rajendra Prasad for not giving the dates. This turned out to be lucky for Babu Mohan and songs were written specially for him later on.

SV Krishna Reddy came into limelight with this movie. Infact, next to Dasari, it is only SVK who has held many fields like direction, screenplay, music etc in the Telugu movies.
