Summary
suDigunDaalu is about two rich teenagers who kidnap and kill a judge's son (either for thrills or money or both, I don't remember). ANR plays the judge (prasanna raaNi and vijayachander -both in their debut - are the teenagers), who resigns to argue for the teens. There is a long court room speech berating the changes in values (two sides of a 78 rpm record) by ANR that was quite a hit at that time. This movie was under the chakravarti chitra banner - a joint venture of ANR and aadurti subbaaraavu. It was their first attempt to produce socially relevant movies. I think the film won some nandi awards and may have broken even. They produced one more movie - marO prapancham - which was a bust
