    Ganesh Patro was accused of stealing the story from Ushakiran Movies which vowed not to hire him again for its future movies It revoked its decision in 1994. Anyway this movie won 5 national awards including the best national integrity preserving movie I don t know what the hell this means. SPB, Illayaraja won the technician's awards. The plus point to this movie were the lyrics by Seeta rama sastry.

    A box office fiasco. Madala Ranga Rao Accused K. Balachander of plagiarising his story from his movie JANAM MANAM, but the latter firmly denied it.
