Summary
In the beginning, Chiru is very innocent illiterate. His mother dies because of the neglegency of 'graama vaidyudu', Veerabhadra Rao. Now the angered Chiru axes the left shoulder of Veerabhadra Rao and goes to jail. When he comes back from the jail, the whole village is afraid of him and since then he lives like a 'rough -and-tough ' guy. Radhika purposefully gets her Doctor's posting to the same village. In her childhood, her parents were killed by the sarpanch, Gollapudi and hence she wants to take revenge on him. Radhika is slowly attracted towards Chiru and she succeds in refining him. Rajesh is an innocent and timid youth and loves Purnima, the only one daughter of Gollapudi. Chiru helps them in their eloping attempt. So Gollapdi makes an unsuccessful attempt to get Chiru killed by a kirayi goonda. When Gollapudi tries to rape Radhika, Chiru kills him and hence he helps the village in getting rid of the cruel and arrogant sarpanch.
