    Comments
One of the most revolutionary films in Telugu film history. Well known lyricist kosaraaju raaghavayya chaudari (played a major role) and dance choreographer/film director vEdAntam raaghavayya (performed daSaavataaraalu dance) made their film debut. Famous Historian giDugu venkaTa seetaapati also played a major role (as jamindaar). The film was dedicated to "raitu jana baandhava" MuniswaaminaayuDu (ex-Minister). The Jamindaar travels by air, when flying was something unique, showing the old VT-AJO m/c. The feudal land lords tried with all means to get the film banned and even some prints were burnt. Its interesting to note that the film producer yarlagadda sivaramaprasad a.k.a challapalli raajaa, was himself a land lord and the film was banned in his own territory.
