Summary
Gummadi is a rich man who has an affair with Savithri (guest appearance) and daughter Bhanumathi is born. After this Gummadi deserts Savithri who dies. Later Gummadi gets married and Nageswara Rao is his son. Savithri's memories haunt Gummadi and her spirit keeps appearing to him. 'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene' song is picturized on Savithri's spirit haunting Gummadi . Bhanumathi grows up as a street singer with Relangi and Ramana Reddy as her side kicks. She comes to know about her birth circumstances and wants to teach Gummadi a lesson. She comes to his town and manages to get into his house. Later Nageswara Rao comes to know that she is his half-sister born out of wedloclk. Obviously everything gets sorted out at the end with Bhanumathi being accepted as the first daughter of Gummadi.

    As far as I know this is the only movie Savithri is Bhanumathi's mother. Used to be pet movie trivia question.
    One of Bhanumathi's best performances.
