Summary
Chiru always gets involved in some petty quarrels and he gets the sobriquet 'Mondighatam' because of his straightforwardedness and sincerity. His parents, Sathyanarayana and Annapurna always suggest him to behave himself. Chiru and Radhika are lovers. Prasad Babu is an arrogant son of an industrialist, Gummadi. Prasad Babu wants to marry Radhika and he has been several times beaten up by Chiru for his initiatives on Radhika. Chiru teases Gummadi and Prasad Babu when the latter go to Radhika's father to talk about the marriage proposal. Besides, Gummadi has some personal differences with Sathyanarayana, who is the judge. So Gummadi wants to implicate Chiru in a murder plot and awaits a good chance. Prasad Babu rapes Easwara Rao's sister to death. During the rape, he wears Chiru's finger gloves and hence Chiru is arrested. Now Sathyanarayana defends as a lawyer and saves his son. In the climax, Gummadi and Prasad Babu are arrested.
