Summary
This evergreen action-packed movie made Chiru superstar and fetched him millions of fans overnight. The story goes as the following. During the college days, Madhavi is in love with Chiru, who is an IAS aspirant. Both are from the same village, Kondapalli. Madhavi is a daughter of RGR, an evil and arrogant sarpanch, while Chiru is a son of a poor farmer, PL Narayana. RGR thoroughly discourages their love affair and he even threatens PL Narayana to make Chiru forget Madhavi. But PLN says that if the two young people like each other, it is better for their elderness to bless them instead of seperating them out. The enraged RGR usurps their house and land, because of the debts owed to him by Chiru's family. Sangeetha is Chiru's widow sister and the village munusabu (Nutan Prasad), who is leacherous by nature and also an aide of RGR. When PL Narayana comes to know the filthy desire in NP's mind about his daughter,he becomes livid and tries to beat RGR and NP. They kill him and prove that he has commited suicide because of his debts. The upset Chiru leases land and works hard to get rid of their debts owed to RGR. But RGR again usurps all his hard-cultivated 'araTi thoTa'. On the other hand, Sangeetha feels that because of her, Chiru is facing a lot of insults and difficulties and she marries NP, hoping that they will leave Chiru alone after her marriage to NP. But NP sends a forest officer (Chalapathi Rao) to Sangeetha on his first night to get some work done in the forest. She commits suicide and Chiru,having known all these incidents, tries to kill all of them. First time, he fails to do so and when he tries it the second time he was arrested by a SI (Ranganath) on an attempted murder on the sarpanch. He soon escapes from the jail to avenge his family deaths and he hides in a doctor (Sumalatha)'s house, as the police is after him. Having listened to his story she is ready to help him, for she also has to avenge her sister's death( earlier,NP marries Sumalatha's sister and kills her). Chiru is traced by the police and RGR and later Sumalatha is also killed. RGR implicates Chiru in that murder and sends him again to jail. Madhavi finds two beggars who tell her that Chiru hasn't killed Sumalatha. This time Chiru makes a daring escape from the police car and hides in the forest. Police makes futile attempts to rearrest him in the forest. Finally, Chiru kills the forest officer, NP and RGR and surrenders to the police. If you want to watch how dynamic Chiru was 15 years ago, go for this never-tiring movie. I would've seen this movie around 20 times during my school and college days.
